The Babadook (2014)

Creep (2014)

This makes for an incredibly stripped-down and refreshing found footage film. You’ll enjoy this crazy tale, even if you don’t like the found footage format. It has a surprising psychological twist that gives it many of its scares. Duplass said to EW that the general feeling of the film was “Let’s make it crazy and make it what it is.” The result is a terrifying exercise that will impress anyone who thought the subgenre had peaked with The Blair Witch Project.
